Bradley Boucher

I’m a New England artist living in the coastal town of Arundel, Maine. Originally from neighboring New Hampshire, I moved to Maine more than 25 years ago for college and quickly fell in love with the landscape, the people, and the slower pace of life. From the rocky coastline and quiet harbors to the mountains, forests, and lakes, Maine has become both my home and my greatest source of inspiration.

My work is rooted in the landscapes and moments that make Maine unforgettable. Rather than chasing dramatic scenes, I’m drawn to the quiet beauty of early morning light, weathered boats returning to harbor, calm water, and the changing atmosphere that gives every day on the coast its own personality.

Working primarily in oils, I paint with expressive, loose brushwork that emphasizes light, mood, and atmosphere while remaining true to the character of each scene. My goal isn’t simply to recreate a photograph—it’s to capture how a place feels and to tell a story through each painting.

Alongside my original collections, I enjoy creating commissioned artwork, whether it’s a beloved pet portrait, a meaningful landscape, or a favorite place along the Maine coast. Every painting is created with the hope that it brings back a memory, celebrates a place, or becomes part of someone else’s story.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my gallery. I hope my work allows you to experience a little of the beauty and spirit that make Maine such an extraordinary place.
